Can the Police Search Your Property?

On behalf of Jasti & Khandhar   |   Criminal Defense Search Warrant

Generally, the police must obtain a warrant before searching property such as a car, house, computer, backpack, or purse. Although, there are exceptions to this law. For example, if you consent to a search of your car after a traffic stop, the police do not have to obtain a warrant.
